When disaster strikes, the need is immediate, urgent, and deeply human. Families are displaced in an instant—often forced to leave behind homes, belongings, and any sense of normalcy. In those first moments, access to basic essentials can make all the difference.

Through Wyld Works, we’re committed to supporting communities not only in times of growth, but in times of crisis. By partnering with trusted, on-the-ground organizations, we’re able to contribute to both immediate relief and long-term recovery efforts for those impacted by wildfires and floods.

In California, Wyld supported the California Fire Foundation’s Supplying Aid to Victims of Emergency (SAVE) program—an initiative designed to deliver rapid, direct assistance to disaster survivors. In the aftermath of wildfires and other emergencies, firefighters distribute SAVE cards to affected households, providing immediate funds that can be used for essentials like food, clothing, shelter, and medical needs.

This kind of support meets people where they are, in the moments they need it most—helping restore a sense of stability during otherwise overwhelming circumstances. Beyond immediate aid, the Foundation also works with community organizations to support long-term recovery, ensuring that assistance continues long after the initial emergency has passed.

In Texas, Wyld contributed to recovery efforts through the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, which plays a critical role in mobilizing resources for communities impacted by severe flooding. Through funds like the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, the Foundation directs support to vetted local organizations providing emergency assistance, housing support, and long-term rebuilding efforts.

These community-led models are essential in times of crisis. By working with local partners who understand the specific needs of their regions, resources can be deployed more effectively—supporting everything from immediate relief to the long road of recovery that follows.

At Wyld, we believe that impact means showing up consistently—especially when it matters most. Whether responding to wildfires, floods, or other natural disasters, our goal is to support efforts that provide real, tangible relief to the people and communities navigating their most difficult moments.

Because in times of crisis, even small acts of support can help people begin again.
